EVALUATION
CRITERIA



The submitted applications will be evaluated by a committee consisting of representative of the municipalities of Berat Region and of the Consultant team.

The criteria on which the submitted applications will be evaluated are:

Impact:
  • Impact on clean and healthy environment
  • Impact on public awareness and environmental education
  • Benefit for / engagement of disadvantaged groups
  • Compliance with targets and activities of the newly adopted Local Waste Management Plans
  • Sustainability and long term effects
Effort:
  • Level of effort for implementation and documentation of activities
  • Number of people involved in the activity
  • Level of effort for documentation and visibility

This competition is performed under the Integrated Waste Management (ISWM) Project funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The decision of the evaluation committee about the winner of the competition is not voidable. There is no right of appeal. Participants accept that submitted documents may be used by the ISWM Project in publications and presentations without further permissions or charges.
